You can access your storage room 365 days a year 6am to 10pm, we can even arrange 24-hour access if you need it. We have 24-hour CCTV to give you peace of mind and all our units are individually alarmed and monitored.

We can provide you with trolleys of varying sizes, as well as pallet trucks and a forklift service. The South Birmingham Self Storage team can accept deliveries on your behalf. We can even let you know we have safely received your deliveries by text, email, or telephone.

How it works

Step one: Choose your space

We know its tricky to imagine what space you’ll need. (Few of us know what “50 square feet” looks like). That’s why our size guide below give you a good idea of the space that’s right for you. If you’re still not sure have a chat with our storage experts. They’ll explain things in terms of garden sheds, transit vans and double bedrooms.

Step two: Get your quote

You can get a quote via email, over the phone or in store. You can rent your room by the week and stay for as long or little as you want. We’ll need a rough idea of when you want to start your storage, but don’t worry if you’re not certain about the dates. We know timings change when it comes to moving house or getting the builders – just let us know and we’ll make sure we’re ready when you are.

Step three: Packing and moving

Time to get packing! You can even pick up packing boxes from us. Need van hire? We can help with that too

Step four: Checking in

It only takes a few minutes in store. Then we’ll show you to your reserved space and you’re free to use our trolleys to move your stuff in.

Step five: Locking up

Once you’ve locked up, your personal PIN means only you can get in. Then leave it to our 24/7 security to keep your storage space safe. (And remember you’ve access to your space any time you like).

Stores personal items, clothes, boxes, toys, small furniture or business records

Size:  5ft x 5ft  Equivalent to:  Standard garden shed

50 sq ft

Stores small furniture, chairs, mattress or storage for business supplies and records. Plus other small items and boxes.

Size:  10ft x 5ft   Equivalent to:  Transit Van

100 sq ft

Store up to the contents of an average one bed apartment with major appliances, as well as personal belongings and boxes.

Size:  10ft x 10ft   Equivalent to:  Single garage size

200 sq ft

Store up to the contents of an average 3 bedroom home with larger furniture like sofas, desks, mattresses, dining room table and chairs, as well as personal belongings and boxes. Also ideal for business files and inventory.

Size:  20ft x 10ft   Equivalent to:  Double garage size
